Academic Standards Hold Removal

To have an Academic Standards Registration Hold Removed, students will be notified the sixth week of the quarter that their hold has been removed.

At this level the college is concerned about continued challenges and requires the student to pause their enrollment to re-evaluate their academic progress before returning.

For students that don’t want to take the quarter off there is an appeal process that includes the following:

• Submitting and Academic Standards Level 3 Appeal Form
• Attending an Academic Standards Appeals Committee Meeting
• Students are notified if their appeal was approved or denied.
• Denials or self selecting not to appeal results in their classes being dropped and 100 percent refund being issued.
• Students whose appeals were denied or whom didn’t select to appeal have the Level 3 Hold placed on their account and that is removed by the priority registration date for the following quarter.
