The Behavioral Assessment Team (BAT) is a group of individuals who receive information and reports concerning potentially threatening behavior on campus. The BAT acts as a centralized resource to which all reports are made, creating and empowering a culture of reporting.
The goal of the BAT is to: take an informed, proactive and preventive approach to addressing potentially threatening behaviors.
The BAT team creates action plans for individuals who display disturbing or potentially threatening behavior and offers suggestions on how to manage the behavior or student crisis.
